Focused modules for hair styling, beauty therapy, makeup and fashion styling over six terms (practical + coursework-based assessments)
Term 2 (Hair Styling):

Professional health & safety, use of electrical appliances.

Working with real hair, lace wigs, acrylic wigs, and training heads.

Basic and period hairstyling techniques across eras using wigs and pieces.

Creating men’s grooming and facial hair for film, TV, stage and fashion.

Wig knotting, moustache application, head wrapping, wig fittings.

Ongoing practical assessments for certification
Term 5 (Hair Extensions, Barbering & Business):

Hairdressing and barbering techniques.

Skill development in hair extensions and airbrushing.

Business skills: portfolio building, planning, budgeting, production arts workflows
